| Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 Hard to say where this post belongs due to the huge turnout it gets every year. I have heard that they are having issues with mid-ohio, my thoughts are that due to the camping situation at mid-ohio a change of venue might be nice. There was a Scion V.I.P. event ant the dragstrip that had around 70 cars, alot that I had never seen before. As far as the drive for everybody it might be closer for some and further for others but Ive drove to Bristol from the Natti so Im not sayin this on behalf of mself but it just wasnt as good as it has been at mid-ohio. Thats all opinion but as my 4th year at eXposed approaches Im excited as usual but a lil change dont hurt. Enough reading lets get some opinions
Theres also Indy Motor Speedway af ew laps maybe Same as Kentucky Speedway who would prolly love to have us there

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 If I could put my car on the track at Indy I would effin' die. Hell, I'd drive to Indy by way of Canada and Mexico if it meant I could get on THE track for one picture.
I'd be down for making the trip. I've done it before and it wasn't too bad. Plus there are several White Castles along the way...
The KC region hasn't had an Exposed event yet, but they were gonna try one this year. Not sure how that's going at the moment (I heard the word "postponed" in my last discussion with them). That would probably be in Kansas City proper but could also be in St. Louis.
I did Exposed in Chicago a couple years ago...maybe 3 now...dang. It was a blast though. They coupled it with the outdoor HIN show which was nice too.
Please keep us posted on this. If something gets set up before our show in May please bring some flyers to hand around and we will drum up a big old caravan to Indy!

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 I guess this was a dumb ideal to try and suggest a new venue for eXposed in June but my inside line is telling me its not looking good for Mid Ohio and we have a voice, they do look at this! It seems like they are considering the dragstrip in Norwalk Oh and I know we go there for the show and the afterparty but at a dragstrip with nothing else going on might take away from the fun factor. The Mid-Ohio deal gives anything else a lot to live up to but it is possible to have a great show somewhere else I have been for3 yrs srtaight and Im sure if we were in Indy somewhere we could get a whole new batch of cars there. I did a Scion V.I.P. at Indy Raceway Park and had about 70 cars there most that I had never seen before and im just tryin to get some ideals on what else may be options if anybody has a suggestion feel free to post If you dont like the ideal of a move post it If you have another place in mind post it! |

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 I like the idea of a new place. Indy sounds like fun. The one thing that I like about Mid Ohio was the fact that there was always something going on. IRP would be a nice venue, I would love to be able to get onto IMS, but thats a long shot. |

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 June is the SE 5 year event in Chicago. CHicago no longer get the Exposed event s due to lack of participants. but Ohio get 3000 cars? SE-Chicago has 50 members alone and there were most likely 75/100 cars at the last event. piss poor attendance if you ask me. must not have been enough free stuff. that's what's it's all about in the Scion world now nothing free then no participants. too bad it's about that and not about the enthusiates. |

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 I was at a NOPI at the Norwalk strip and it was pretty lame. What is the camping issue at Mid Ohio besides controlling all the drunk people? If done right Indy could draw numbers being closer to bigger groups. I'm all for an Indy location but it would have to have more than just a car show for me to attend. Like JDMJim said people want something for nothing and when they don't get it they don't show. |

Camping at mid-ohio cant stay on the infield overnight anymore used to be walking distance to the show spot but last year ya needed a turban, plenty o water, and a camel to make the trip to the campsites rotflmao Just took away from the event i felt. And we all know scion will be putting out the free stuff I was fortunate enough to go to Bristol and Mid-Ohio last year and they gave away all the overstock 1st gen stuff to clear out room for the new model stuff very few tc parts lots of xb and xa factory acc. though and more hubcaps than that guy that puts em on his fence in the yard (seems like that guy lives in every town

| Re: Petition for Scion eXposed Indianapolis 2009 Exposed would be cool in indy but the ims group is real expensive to book. I have seen the lotus club of america do a meet there which included a lap of the track. I just think ims would be out of the budget. The folks that went to cedar point had a good time but it was all about the freebies over the notion to just hang out |
