| Re: All Scion Show 6.0 Memorial Day Weekend INDOORS! No promises, but I'll see if I can make the drive up from Kentucky. It'll depend on a lot of things coming together, but its a possibility. I want a good road trip in the box!
BTW. Its a 10 hour drive from Cincinnati to Iowa. So it'll really depend on how I feel. lol

Taz, grab Rodney and John Sr. and strap on your driving shoes man! I'll put you up when you get here. Just think of it as a re-bonding time between you and your beloved xB... |

Scotty, looks like we both have a deadline to beat. Supposed to be near 60 this weekend here, so I will be out in the garage for sure.

| Re: All Scion Show 6.0 Memorial Day Weekend INDOORS! I have really wanted to find a scion meet that I could go to and it just so happens that this one is only seven hours away. I can do that. I don't really know anybody on these forums and I thought it would be a good chance for me to meet some of you people. Just a few questions first. Is there any kind of registration of show fee? I have never had my car in a show, but will have it in one this fall. I just think it would be really cool to meet some of you guys and gals. Also, if I do end up coming, would anybody be willing to kinda show me the ropes and maybe meet some people? I think this would be an awesome experience because I have not seen any other modded scions, let alone xb’s in my area. Just trying to convince the gf to come with. Also, how big of a show is this for that area? As in, would I need to reserve a hotel in much advance? Thank you very much for the input and I hope to meet some of you there. |

| Re: All Scion Show 6.0 Memorial Day Weekend INDOORS! Fargo!
We'd love to have you down here man!
Our show has always been and is 100% free for the participants and spectators. We even feed you lunch and enter you in the raffles if you show! With the great donations from our sponsors and our dealership it looks like everybody is going to walk away with something too! Some of our sponsors will be vending and we do always sell t-shirts to benefit our charity if you are so inclined, but you don't HAVE to spend any money at the show.
I'd have to say that this will be one of the frendliest shows you will ever attend too. I'm generally kind of a prick on the day of the show myself (it is a fairly stressful day for me), but everybody else should be ultra cool and welcome you with open arms. Stay for the Sunday Drive too (I'm a much happier person when the show is done).
Hotels are plentiful in the area, but since it is Memorial day I would recommend reserving a room in advance. I suggest the Microtel which is very close to the dealership and cheap too (while still being a nice place).
To prep your car for the show just read the rules (which may be modified slightly very soon) which you can find on the website: All Scion Show Ames, IA Every May.
It is a very family friendly show so your girl should be pretty happy too.
If you have further questions just ask! We look forward to seeing you there!

| Re: All Scion Show 6.0 Memorial Day Weekend INDOORS! Yeah we generally are a pretty laid back group. Cars at are shows are pretty. Much in all categories from bone stock to highly modded. Biggest thing to remember prepping for a show.Cleanliness is next to godlyness. I promise the judges will check for dirt in places you never thought to check. So give yourself plenty of time to clean your car first at a carwash before the show then at the actual location for detail work.
My personal goal at every show is to have fun and meet other owners. If I happen to win something that is just a nice unexpected bonus. So come on out! |

| Re: All Scion Show 6.0 Memorial Day Weekend INDOORS! Damn fine questions all around. I need to update the website!
Registration will be handled the day of the show at the show. We will park you and then announce registration open about 10:00 if I'm remembering right.
We will look forward to seeing you there!
