| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts lol, Im sure you are use to the heartbreaker Dyno's... I prefer DynoJets to Mustang dyno's any day of the week, I agree though you need to go to a shop that knows how to work a dyno too...
I had the 240 dyno'd at a place called ESP once... they told me I had 151 whp and 148 torque... I looked at him like he was on glue and he goes on to tell that those numbers are really good for a 240, etc... I went you did something wrong and he was adamant that he was right and that my 240 only has 150 horse etc.... I told him that I beat v8 stangs, how is it possible that I only have 150 horse? he had no answer... When I looked at the dyno sheet he had entered the weight of the 240 as a 4600lb car... I nearly shit myself...
When I had the car redyno'd later(with no change to the vehicle at all) it put down 278whp and 269 torque, by the way that was at 14psi and no turbo manifold or test pipe... I am guessing that its at around 300 whp now...
and BTW, Creative1 that is a sick bike man!

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts Wait till you're on an old L&S roller.
You may have a little more than 300. Was the dyno deep inside the shop? Outside temp? Barometer? Water content? And how much non contributing gas, most of the rollers are in the back of the shop near a a thick wall... 269 torque is a good number.
Regardless, the numbers only tell you if you there's an improvement after a mod.
4600# 240, my explorer doesn't weigh that much.
I want to drive creatives bike. It does help if you work at a bike shop........ |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts Thinking about interesting places to meet......
Is there a place to eat at the Wallingford track?
F1 Boston is good, the food is ok.
Mass MOCA in North Adams - would be great for people interested in edge art + there is a very good SW restaurant.
New England Dragway ????? Lebanon Valley Dragway????
Samantha, it's getting warmer. The snow, here, is almost gone............... |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts hey littledeviant - where did u get your bike dynoed? I work at ESP (we make the dyno machines) but i thought the closest shop with one is in NY. that's pretty cool
and yeah there's places to eat around the go kart track... friendlys, ruby tuesdays, chinese, different kind of stuff.
i'm down for anything really - i'll drive far it won't bother me. i'm sure most of the other CT people won't mind driving tooooo far, and jeremy's in leicester mass so anything up there would make him happy haha.
april 5th (sunday) at noon we've got a bunch of people going bowling somewhere on the berlin turnpike (i'll get the name/address of the place soon) soooo if you're free and wanna come down to plainville, CT then please comeee!!! we'll probably do hooters or somewhere else for food afterwards hit me up for more info if you want |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts So I got the car out of the body shop, and the molding they repaired is all loose and wavy, they left dust all over the interior of my car, and chipped the fender taking the hood off. I brought it back and they told me they will "try" to fix it.
I gotta stop having my car serviced by "professionals"
The black hood looks good though. Well time for me to get my lazy ass moving and work on the car a little. |

ESP didn't go for a contract with CT or MA or RI inspection shops. sooo if he tested it on an ESP machine around here it probably wasn't being used for state inspections. that's what i was getting at lol but i am curious because yeaaaaah i feel like no one knows where i work haha. |
