| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts Hey, just found this site.
got a couple of boxes. An 05 & 08. Live in Northampton MA
The 05 has a few mods - a Greddy SC - Spec stage 3+ clutch = speed stuff - Epslier axel back, 2 tone paint TCM top BCP lower, Limo tint, Katzkin interior - more......
The 08 - just wheels. BUT more to come......
I'm pretty sure I had the first XB in this part of the state ( had to get it from NJ ). Scion came to to Northampton with their line up, XA, XB, TC, in early 2005 for people to test drive their cars around the block. That did it!
It would be great to see what the rest of you are doing. I also have a few pieces off the 05 I traded in for the 08 ( Had 2 05's - kept the blower car ) |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts Love to see it. Have you lowered it?
Northampton is home to Packards, home of the beer batter dipped burger = 1/2
# burger stuffed with jalapeño peppers stuffed w/pepper jack, beer batter dipped, deep fried & served with award winning spicy fries..... Makes a hell of a place for lunch.... |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts My springs are sitting in my basement, so I havent had a chance to lower it. Its in the body shop right now getting some winter damage taken care of. Its been through 3 exhaust systems already. I have the most ridiculous shift knob, tinted windows, and painted engine cover.
Thats all right now there are parts laying around my house waiting for the car to get back to me, and if the price is right its coming back with a flat black hood.
and also Packards is great, a good place for any of us on here to get together for some lunch.

Maybe pelly3s & I can have a small install party & install springs ( I also have some in a box ). Then we'll take a bunch of pics.
If a group can be formed there can be a lot of good information shared. Most of the people I deal with are so far away. It would be nice to have a local bunch. |

| Re: trying to get a group in Massachusetts Central MA.
pelly3s lives close
Do you know about the kart track in Wallingford? And Boston F1?
I hope this April is better than last year. It would be good to actually see what others are doing. I don't see any hot boxes around here. The only other blower car, first gen, is a car we did. Haven't seen any second gen hot rods at all.
Hey this may be the last post I need - could see some pics soon............. |
