My wife found this on another site. I wonder how the turnout will be since this is from 3pm to 2am, but its not that hot in May, well it could be the weather is freaky now.

Scion Expo 2006 will continue to offer FREE entry. The venue for Scion Expo 2006 has changed from last years venue to the Houston Farm & Ranch Club. The time of the event has been changed to 3 pm to 2 am to keep the hot weather at a minimum. This years event will still feature Scion Expo’s ‘Trademark’, a police escorted cruise around Houston’s 610 loop (Freeway). The car show portion of the event will still offer Best of show Trophies in various categories for many opportunities to win. This years After Party, as opposed to last years, will remain at the Houston Farm & Ranch Club, the same venue where the Arena will be transform to Club Kryptonite, So bring your dancing shoes with a spectacular laser show with Houston finest DJs.

The ULTIMATE ENDURANCE TRIAL aka THE HANDS ON COMPETITION.
Thanks to our friends at Sterling McCall Scion you get a chance to win one of the following: your choice of 1 complete Leather seat wrap, 1 Installed Sunroof, 1 set of 18 inch chrome wheels OR 1 In car Entertainment System (8 inch flip down & DVD Player) Installed.

THE HANDS ON COMPETITION:
In this contest we are allowing a limit of 15 Scion owners to compete for the chance to win one of the above prizes. To win you must all stand around a Scion xB with ONE hand on the vehicle AT ALL TIMES, all while drinking TWO (2) 20 oz Sterling McCall Water bottles every 30 minutes. THERE WILL BE NO RESTROOM BREAKS DURING THE COMPETITION. If your hand loses contact with the vehicle - YOU WILL BE ELIMINATED. There will b e 4 judges (one on each side of the vehicle) watching the players at all times. The last person standing is the winner. The game will end at 2am (assuming that the players last that long). NO LEANING ON THE VEHICLE AND NO TAG TEAMING!! ALL PLAYERS WILL BE FRISKED BY A POLICE OFFICER BEFORE THE GAME TO ENSURE NO "HIDDEN STORAGE COMPARTMENTS".
Remember - Registration opens at 3PM, First come, First serve - The first 15 people registered will be our players.

We will have a Swap Meet Village .
Spaces for Participants at the swap meet will be free untill March 31, 2006 Friday

if u came last year u would know its going to be BIGGER this year. since we have more things to come. an our signature cruise around 610 is unforgettable... police escort all the way around town is sweet, to see jaws drop an traffic held up for us lol if u saw some pics u would see how many scions we had on the freeway. an since its more of a night time show era. its time for those with neons to come out an shine. this is a must go-see event. plus raffling an alot of scions from all over texas. would love for oklahoma to come down for this event. an more san antonio people. i know dallas will be present. an so will most of htown, an when we get the flyers its going to get bigger. hope to bring in some lousianna people as well.

Well I may have to invest in some under glow lighting i guess. Are there any pics of the 610 cruis esome where? And I think I would jsut piss down my leg to win that stuff, the smell may run off the others as well, and gross them out.

I can tell you that last year we must have given away about $15,000 worth of stuff.

The Cruise around the loop was definitely the highlight of the show. I can't wait for that again. These pics are from the Helicopter that we rented to take the pics of the cruise!!!!!!

Last year we had about 250-275 Scion vehicles there. We are looking at 350+ this year. We are doing the walk through of the event grounds tomorrow to get an idea of the total layout of the event.

If anyone here is interested in volunteering to help with anything, we would appreciate it. You can message me through here or on SL.

Whats the info for vendor booths and what not? I know of an audio shop that might want a booth. And are non scions gonna be allowed to show?
