New Texas Tint law???

I got an email that this new law goes into effect in September ...On vehicles with tinted windows, a sticker must be placed on a window stating that the tint complies with the Transportation Code. Anyone heard about this?

i live in california near LA and when i got my tint on my window they asked me if i wanted the lil sticker placed onto my window and i didnt know what it was for but i think its probly cause of that law maybe? idnk but i think its more for cops to tell what % u have ur tint at?

I already have illegal tint lol my dads a police chief here so i tent to get away with it but if they require a sticker that might be harder to swing lol. I have a sun allergy so my doc is gonna write a prescription for it so hopefully the state approves it.

hey the docs note is the besy way to go and im sure itll be ok but for us less unfortunate idnk how that works but ive heard a bit of dribble about it haha but nothing for sure.

I got curtains all around my window, so i dont bother tinted my windows.

I believe 25% up front an 0-5% in the rear. The rear can be liomoed, from the back passanger-hatch

police in fresno have a paper with different shaded squares on it and they hold it up to you window to see how dark you are.... but ive always ran 5% all around.... now im stock windows

cops down here just pull you over saying your tint is to dsrk just so they can find sumthin else wrong with your car. I hate the apd pigs around here
