| Re: Blow me Ike! I'm right there with you Chris. I drove by your house earlier this morning but couldn't stop. It's pretty hectic here and Galveston. Long lines at the gas stations (one's that have gas) and grocery stores, no fast food places open  , and mad traffic everywhere. I'm gonna hunker down and tough it out.
btw this was the older projected path and it seems to have gotten more narrow right in my area as you can see from chris's post.  |

| Re: Blow me Ike! yup most of everyone down south left an most of the closer houston ppl are staying in an waiting out the storm. my gen2 has to wait it out in the rain an wind an hope nothing hits it but i did park it right up next to the house opposide side of where the wind is coming from so hopefully its just rain i have to deal wit. but yup everythings shuttin down early walmart shut down at 4pm. gas stations are closed. fast food places are sellin wat they got an closing shop. i managed to get 2 full ice chest's full of ice plus boarded the house up. but most of my members are staying in town for this. waiting out the long storm ahead of us. just be safe guys. i heard the water surge is going to be HIGH this time |
