| Re: Satomi Sushi 11/5 730pm Fremont pretty much! i have visions of shooting the fish from the hole where ur chandelier use to be...getting the whole car in one single shot aerial view. it must be done down the road.
after seeing your creation (the box), as well as billy's and eugene's, i went home and I was like...oh damn. i hadn't put as much though into the interior-i guess because i didn't realize the malleability of xbs....then i thought, what if i was able to do a dark velvet roof with some ruching technique?....know anyone who has used velvet? either that or a satin/silk material. I'm pretty handy when it comes to this kind of stuff. The whole VIP look is expensive, yall r right. And i figure, i can probably finagle a way to make shit myself, so long as it looks gangsta. lol |

| Re: Satomi Sushi 11/5 730pm Fremont now you're getting the idea lisa. just like scion's motto, "what moves you". i say doooo it.
the only downside on doing satin or silk, usually they're too thin of a material and when you use glue to adhere em unto your headliner, the glue might seep through and it'll ruin the integrity of your work. just saying. |

I thought, maybe this can be achieved if i get magnets- attach a bunch to the headliner in strategic spots, then, with a special cloth safe adhesive- adhere magnets to the fabric-also in strtegic spots..and use the magnets to drape the fabric on the headliner. Just a thought i want to look into a bit more. I'm about saving money, and getting the best quality.. it's a fine line and it may take a lot of research..but I'm down. Quote:
