| Juss my luck lol So I actually decided to clean/detail/wash my car today becuase its been awhile since I've had time and since I went to knotts I have had some type of motivation to get my car all pretty again.....
so anyways I was about to clean my rims and i didnt have much to use besides Black Magic and some other "wheel cleaner".....
so I read both of the bottles and Black Magic sounded like the better choice of the two....it said it was able to use on chrome, polish, aluminum and basically everything out there....so I sprayed some on my Works and washed it off....dry it and what the heck theres like resin spots alll over it...so i tried to polish it out...it wont go...looks like its eating my damn finish off my works....reaaalllly irratated becuase I dont wanna go spend money to get them being refinished.....

| Re: Juss my luck lol Just my usual car wash soap and a very soft wash mitt. A little more elbow grease involved but they always come out looking pretty. And make sure you wash them when their cold.Washing them when their hot can cause staining.

Don't use wheel cleaner of any kind. Clearcoat doesn't like it. Just use the car wash fluid and a soft rag or sponge as pointed out above.
Bring them by and I'll take a look at them.

| Re: Juss my luck lol If that works (no pun intended) let me know. Same thing happened to me at a detail shop. 1 rim looks like it's got soap scum all over it. It was on a couple others but for some reason they are clean now. I do need to find a good place to get them polished up though. |
