| Wow! First tank of gas. Well,
I got 31.63 MPG out of my first tank on my 05 Xb I got last week. My driving is all city commute to work. So I am happy with that compared to my minivan that was getting 17MPG on the same drive.
Im sold. |

| Re: Wow! First tank of gas. I love my box, always wanted one..
just one thing, I'm uber mad about my gas mileage though..
I traveled from TX to GA and throughout the whole trip I was averaging about 25-30 mpg..
is there anyway I can help my mileage out?
I replaced my fuel filter, etc.
The "stealer"ship recommended that I should clean my throttlebody/flush my fluids (PS/tranny)
any ideas? |

| Re: Wow! First tank of gas. Now try changing your oil to Mobil 1 synthetic and you will get at least another couple of mpg plus your engine will last longer. Just remember to use an oil filter that is compatible with synthetic oil. |

| Re: Wow! First tank of gas. I am blown away by the gas mileage also. I just went through my very first tank of gas (06 xB) and went 339 miles. Just an amazing car. Fun to drive and easy on the wallet.
Does anyone notice any mileage difference when using premium gas? Or is it about the same?
