replacing Xterra with XB

Just found out my 2003 Xterra has been totaled out. never thought i would be looking at buyin a scion xb but it looks that way now. Im looking at a 2005 xb black with 85k miles. Asking price is 8500. Does this seem like a fair price? I do alot of rock climbing and backpacking and need the cargo space for my gear. Is there alot of space in the rear cargo area? Is 2005 a good year or should i look for a newer or older year.

Re: replacing Xterra with XB

Welcome. There is a ton of room inside the xB. The used xB's hold their value rather well and 85k is not that high for miles. We have a few on the boards here with well over 100k and they are still running strong.

Not sure about the price, haven't been keeping track of the use prices.

As far as the year, the first generation xB was only made for three years and the differences between the years are minimal.

Good luck on your search.
