Just more $$$ for my dealer.
Agree or Disagree? | definently use the free oil change.you can use it at 5,000 mi. if they say anything just remind them that the recommendation is 5,000. at least do the first oil change free. they'll know when then they take the filter off. orignal filters have a red gasket.
if you get a low drain pan you dont even need a jack to change the oil your self. its the cheapest way to get a quality oil change.
I change mine at 3,000mi. I just buy the filters from the dealer or online keep the recipts. I also recommend castrol gtx, unless you run synthetic.then I'd say mobile 1. but opinions on the best oil are like a** holes.....

| Gas Mileage So-So / And Rattle After 1000 Miles So far after 1000 miles I have averaged 23, 25,28,25 mpg. The 28 was due to more highway driving. I sure would like to get 30 mpg someday but I'm starting to have my doubts.
I also have a rattle now down low on the driver side. I hear it unless the road is really smooth. It's looks to be one big piece of plastic so I'm not sure what the dealer can do for me. I definitely will mention it on the 1st oil change though.
I still love the car regardless. |

(This look tends to be especially popular among our JDM brothers.) Just want to point this out because you’re in a rare position to stop the dealer. On the flip side some dealers don’t automatically add holes for customers who DO want them. It can be kind of nerve wracking to take a drill to your shiny new bumper. So ask him to do it.
BTW, welcome to the club!
Considering you started out wanting stock, and already have a few extra “goodies” I also welcome you to the wonderful, wonderful world of modding! Where does the dealer put his name? I usually only get it on the crappy license plate frame. | I made certain that my dealer knows there are to be no holes drilled in mine when it comes, plastic still on the seats and the carpet, and absolutly no dealership badging placed on the car unless it was a licenseplate frame that I will take off while I'm still in the lot |

| I have an 06 Auto and I get 30-34 mpg. A little less when I'm in a hurry!!! Oh, lets say a 100mph hurry. Waited a week for it, then brought it back for a day for the spoiler to be put on. The first one that came in before the xB showed up was a different color blue, so they ordered another. As far as the hubcaps, mine showed up with something I didn't order, but the Scion sales manager went to the back and got me the right ones. Didn't matter much. I ended up taking them of and putting beauty rings on, looks 10 times better than the caps! Beaman Scion of Nashville has been great with any questions I've had with it. I have had mine since the end of Sept. got my first free one at 4200, when they put the sticker on it said next change 7200. I think I'll do it every 4000. I haven't had any problems with mine, besides the windshield pits. But either way, it's the funnest, most looked at and complimented vehicle I have ever owned. Now start Modding!!! Just have fun with it and welcome to the ClubxB!!!! |
