hi guys! I'm very new to the forum. I have been hanging out over at the other scion forum for almost 2 years now. I have been following the xB since gen 1, and it has just been this year that I was able to get myself one. I've had my xb for 5 days now but I bought it last week monday. the 3 days that I was without the xb was when my dealer was being cr@p.
I lovet he xb and all... but I just had a bad experience with my dealer and the whole car buying thing, especially that this was my first time buying a car.
first of all, I should have not bought the extended warranty! that's the major regret I have. second, I shouldn't have trusted my salesman. He assured me that the minor scratches on the paint will be taken care of, and that he will have the interior cleaned thouroughly. I got my xb monday night and had to bring it back in the next day for the reasons mentioned above. Guess what... it took them 3 days before they gave me my car back and the interior has never been cleaned, nor was the scratches on the paint touched up, although the stains on the hood were gone. and to add some more fuel to the fire... the dealership freakin forgot to put the floor mats in the rear seats area. so I had to drive all the way back to the dealer.
I really wanted to cancel the extended warranty but the guy who sold me the warranty said that I could cancel it but I won't get refunded. Is it true though? I had the warranty included in the mortgage.
sorry for all the rant guys. guess i needed a place to vent out my frustrations. hahaha.
anyways, I'm glad I'm in this forum now.
