I just picked up my 2010 xb in BSP last week. I love it! Gave her her first bath sunday night. I noticed some scratches under the front bumper and that my AUX jack was not working, no biggy so far. (i should also add that she had two different style hubcaps on her. Did care to really notice when i picked it up bc i already had 20s ordered for it) Called the dealership on monday and they said they would fix it "no problem" Got the car back today, dirty,... checked out the front bumper, half a** blended with a cut line i could clearly see. Checked out the inside, looked like someone took a screwdriver to every single part of the dash. Gouges, dents, scratches and cuts, also dirty as Hell! At this point i have steam comming out of my ears. I told the sales manger i want all new dash pieces and a whole new front bumper, one that has not been tampered with. He said he would and that everything would be fixed right. I took her home bc i didnt want to leave it there. Washed her, only to find out there is overspray all over the front half of the car.... If i dont get a free NAV system or atleast the new Alpine Deck they offer out of this, SH*T IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN!!!!

How about listing the location and name of the dealership to give other members a heads up in case they are thinking of taking their ride there for work?

It sounds like you had the same problem as us with the aux/usb port not working. It turns out we had the old radio in our 2010 so it wouldnt recognize any ipods or mp3 players. Yeah go for the bounty because I blanked when they asked me what I wanted for my trouble and said a free tank of gas. I ran it to gas light and filled up on there buck so it was good and I got my new radio. That sucks about all the paint stuff they shoulda just put a new bumper on to begin with. you say your aux jack didnt work... does that mean it wouldnt recognize your ipod?.. cause mine recognizes my iphone but wont charge it cause my phone is a 3g... didnt know if this was supposed to be this way or what... that really does suck.. make them bend over backwards to make you happy... after all you been through... and its not like you bought a much older used one... good luck....

Two things first is that Grand Rapids MI, if so you are right no one probably goes there from this site anyway.

As for the 3g question, if it is the latest model 3gs you need an adapter to charge while hooked up to the stereo. Apple again screwed their customers and changed something.

damn bro i hate to hear something like that...when i bought my box from a dealership they had no info on the car, and it was modded when i bought it...some jackass put cheap ebay coils on it and ruined the suspension, so i spent about 3 months getting work done on it to repair the mistake the previous owner did.... So i feel your pain.

I got an e-mail from Scion about a week after delivery asking all sorts of questions about the vehicle and the service you received. Make sure you rip them a good one when you get your servey.

I did get the servey but im waiting till the car is done to my standards to fill it out. I just want to see if anymore problems arise.

Good luck on this. If you don't get anywhere, I would only talk to the OWNER of this dealership. And then call the 800 # for scion and tell them how your new box is really messed up!

Update,...kind of. So its been 2 days after the weekend and no call from the dealership sayin where my replacement parts are or when they will be in. Not really surprised i guess. Last night i had a reminder email telling me i have not yet filled out my "buyers experience survay." So i filled it out, Negative feed back everywhere i could. Saying that i love the xB but the dealership is a nightmare. I did recieve a phone call from Scion this morning that i could not answer. They left me a voice mail wanting to ask me a few questions about my survay. They did not leave a call back #, just told me they would call back another time. Who knows if they actually will. As for the xB, I installed the 10k HIDs this morning and preped the 20s for painting in the morning. (they are currently silver and I want them black) Im hopping i will have them on by the weekend. Also have my black Grillcraft grill at my house but cannot install bc im suppose to be receiving a new front bumper from them. Hopefully I can post some picks soon.

Yeah man, Scion will call you back they did a follow up on my follow up. They could potentially make it so that dealer cant sell these cars and that would hurt the dealers pocket. Good luck and I wanna see pics, I got 12000k hids in the same color as you and they look amazing.

Hey vis hit me up on PM we need to meet! And hey another HEADS UP for all you in Michigan Suburban Toyota in troy DONT GO THERE! Hordendous service. Though I love my XB and know so much about cars. Buying one used with 26k on it and overlooking everything because I was giddy as all get out....big deal. LMAO. Although anytime I call there for a part. Then drive 40 mins to get it and they put the wrong car in the computer....or the fact I know it has a vac leak somewhere and they swear its how it runs....and how one of their service people makes me feel like a douche even for calling. I can go somewhere else.
