Hello all,

Great site you guys have here, found it through google...thought I would say hello and had a couple of questions for anyone who may have come across it yet.

I am ordering a 2010 xb and looking into the options. I see the bluetooth is a new feature for the xb. I was at the dealer and he could not find it in the factory ordering system but said he found it later in their other ordering system so it would be put on at the dealer.

From what he said it goes in one of the pop-outs on the lower left dash...my questions, can it be put opposite the audio controls on the steering wheel? Is there a better BT unit out there since this one would be dealer installed anyway?

It's an odd situation, I don't really have a problem with them installing one at the dealer but obviously prefer as much of a factory build as possible.

I know that the part is a toyota part the same that's being put in the new tundra's etc. So I guess they are extending it to the scion brand. It was just odd that when you configure the scion on the website it shows it like any of the other features like a factory part but like every part on their it does have the disclaimer that it can vary by dealer I guess this is one of them.

Ill be happy with my xB and any BT I can get put in...thanks for the reply

this will soon change once you see all the available aftermarket products that are not offered at the dealership.
