| Re: Have a new 2010 Xb Classic Silver Not having an xb (yet), I can only guess that starting in second gear is going to get you back into the stealership for a new clutch sooner than later. Every car I've ever owned has been a manual, and I can tell you from experience that slipping the clutch will catch up to you. Besides, it may be the case that you're not staying in first long enough. While I am by no means advocating winding it up too tight, little Japanese motors like this aren't meant to be lugged around town. My advice is to use the first gear.
I am also curious as to the existence of an online factory service manual and am hoping that someone with more knowledge/experience will post with help. |
