| yea i have had a lot of the photoshop versions in the past. i had CS2 on my comp. at home. its one of those that you just have to try out and play around with to get good at. ones that made the most difference IMHO, are the contrast levels. believe it or not, just messin with those with certain highlighted things can make for some cool pics. the effects never really did it for me. i like it looking as natural as possible and contrast could do that.

| yeah i got CS2 and its fun if you know what you are doing. i have yet to master it, but when you can master an editing program like CS2 or C4d, then your imagine is the limit. you have no idea what that might feel like...but i want to feel it. lol |

| Whats the easiest photoshop program to use without losing all the creativity or loss of things you can do? I see people using CS2 but it appears difficult. If its th best one ill use it but just trying to go simpler. Lack of patience. |

| Plat around with CS2. The interface is so much easier to work with, in my opinion, than all the other ones. I recently lost my CS2, so I had to install 6.....Ick, it's like I'm lost in my world of modifications!! |

| Here, try this link: http://www.digimods.co.uk/tutorials/ The site shows some pretty cool stuff, as far as cars go.
Try searching for tutorials, it seems to help, I just don't have a lot of time to go thru them. |

| Check with community colleges most will offer free classes learning computer skills. I never beleived it but then my friend said she was taking a volunteer class here in san diego on PS. Its late in the class so I'm waiting for the new session to start.
They're on weird days and are volunteer only. So if the teacher doesn't show they won't be able to tell ya. |

Lack of patience. | once you get a grasp of how to use the bells and whistles CS2 CS are the easiest to use... or more user friendly w/ more features...
try working in photoshop 3.0 w/ no history palette.
one wrong click or mistake and your done and cant go back!! arrgh!!
to be a master of 3.0 makes you a Wizard in CS versions
I went to school for graphic design and got a degree.
I use photoshop all day everyday 12 hours straight for image manipulation/editing. I own a fine art reproduction business (giclee)
so I use it for reworking files/ touchups/altering/creating/color adj you name it...
unfortunately its not a program that can be explained over a forum in a thread but for starters go grab a photoshop bible or similar book athe the bookstore and do the excercises within it. (just like you were in school)
once you understand the tools and how to effectively use them you are ready to create your own projects...
to dive right in and expect to do things is not gonna happen,
and if you dont use it you lose it so keep playing with it... |
