| Anyone have SBC DSL Im thinking of purchasing this plan for my little brother that lives in another house... does anyone know if the dsl bill comes on the same bill as the lan line ?
Im looking at the 12.95 plan and i was also wondering if there was any catch because 12.95 a month seems to good to be true.... |

| I got it. No tricks, it comes on the regular bill with everything else.
Works good, fast connection,download,upload times.
Just watch out for extra things like equipment purchase, if they tell you it is included it is, installation you can do yourself and remember to get the extra filters for other things on the line,phone/caller id boxes, computers.
I run 3 computers off the line all wireless networked. |

It's been my experience that all customers can reach the top speed if they will call and have a service tech come out and check the line. Many times the speed is slow due to computer processor speeds and line condition.
The current promotion which is $12.95 per month is only available if you order on line. It's the best deal going right now. If you are thinking about getting it DO IT! You will like the bump in speed if you are using dial up now and it will help my stock prices to rise. This makes me happy since I'll be retiring in a few years and I will need the money! |

| We love our SBC DSL, had it a few years now and it's been extremely reliable. Good speed too. But, also, there are different levels, and we are one down from Pro now because the area we moved to in August isn't wired for it yet, or some-such gobbledy-gook that Jeff could tell you more about.
I know a lot of people that have SBC and are happy with it.

I have had the same position for 28 years and have worked for four companies. It was Pacific Telephone when I started then it changed to Pacific Bell then to SBC and now at&t. I really don't care what the name is as long as someone is signing my checks! |

| I have it, and am pretty sure its been well over a year.
Where I'm at, there's one spot during the day that its goes offline for about 3 minutes, but other than that, no problems. |
