| Re: advice wanted - debage paint fade / dull try washing the car.. hit the back there with a medium to fine grade clay bar, give it a 'good healthy' wax, maybe do that area a few times... with a wet cloth for massageing wax on there, get a nice little build of wax and it should shine like new. i had the same issue when i debadged also. |

| Re: advice wanted - debage paint fade / dull Nothing short of repainting will work. The paint around the emblem is faded. No amount of polishing will change that. I hate those facts so if I were you I would just put the emblem back till you have the hatch repainted down the road. |

| Re: advice wanted - debage paint fade / dull Good luck hope it truely works but it does look sunfaded. It's a common problem with vehicles that don't spend most of their time inside a garage. |

| Re: advice wanted - debage paint fade / dull GTA, You just got that xB? If not, the paint looks like a victum of automatic car washes. The spiderweb scratches are quite bad and I would suggest a proper polishing job using Meguires 3 step with a rotory low speed buffer and foam pad. Followed with 2 or more coats of good wax. |

Most cars come with them nowadays, at no charge even! So nice of the detailer... |

| Re: advice wanted - debage paint fade / dull Detailer is an oxymoron when it comes to the dealers.
I had them wash my xB twice when I purchased it and they still missed easy to spot stuff. |
