but like gothbox said I would be afraid about everything being all molded in. I would be afraid it would crack after a while. |

| Re: My buddies chopped box truck I love everything minus the molding in of the kit. That is gonna crack the first time he hits road kill. Other than that...I'm extremely impressed. Cleanest chop execution to date as well. |

| Re: My buddies chopped box truck He has every intention on shaving the door handles. He isnt sure what to do with the gas door. He drives it most everyday.
The rear window is actually the hatch and it opens and closes.
Ill get more pics when I see him again. Quote:

I love the work done on the car, always liked the way the xB looked cut up like that, BUT, and here comes the shat.
What is the big deal with molding EVERYTHING on the car these days?
I guess I like to be able to able to work on my car, and I like to drive the piss out of it. So I would be worried about stuff cracking etc.
I love the headlights on the car, but think it would look just as good with out the bumpers molded in as well.
If it is just for show then that is different I guess. but then it goes back to if you can't drive it then whats the point.
And with all the body work done on the car and still leave the door handles and the gas door? Why not shave them off as well?
Don't get me wrong here, I am not saying that it is not great work etc, just saying I guess I would have done it different. It reminds me too much of the baby blue(now flat black last I saw) one down in FL that has everything molded in, using Fab kit as well I think. I love the chop top on this one more though.
Like I said I am not hating on it, just stating what I am stating. | Quote:

so far the xBrucks looking good. | Ya he works at Northrop with me.
My car is falling apart. It was a valve spring and another went out yesterday.
Im getting really bored with having it in and out of the shop near every 2 weeks.

ANd i own the light blue, satin black, now green fl chop box.
Why the heck (talkin about the one i have) di they shave everything except the door handles and gas tank. THose are 2 of the biggest things that need to be molded.
I drive my car everyday. i actually just drove it to Tulsa over 2500 miles in 4 days.
As for the fab kit. Ugly. But i can't do anything about it. Its molded in. Goth your right. I drag my shit to hard to be molded.
Ok now onto this Fin SEX. Nice to see someone really did it RIGHT. Not diggin the paint onit. But i love how the grill is molded in. Just not really a mini truck look. BUT SICK. |

| Re: My buddies chopped box truck If he did all the work himself, then if he gets a crack in the molding, shouldn't be a big deal. I would definately shave the door handles and gas door though, and run some widenend steelies, powdercoated red, with some whitewalls. |
