I've seen the universal type come up on ebay from time to time. You may want to check with Redline Tuning to see if they offer a chrome unit for the xB: Redline Tuning |

But, the hatch strut overlays are a really good option to consider. I've seen them up close, can't tell it's an overlay. |

'04 to '06.5 (They put '07, but there wasn't an '07 xB): Redline Tuning Scion xB QuickLIFT Kit - 1st Gen
'08 and up: Redline Tuning Scion xB QuickLIFT Kit - 2nd Gen
Installation is easy, and they provide color instructions if I'm not mistaken. Ebay offers them as well, but I'm kinda iffy on those "No name" units. Quote:
