haha just do it, but it will cost u some dough, and time, plus some more dough. but if u got the time and money do it, but dont get it for cheap, that just sounds dumb, plus ur already gunna be in for a good amount, just go all out
Its has to be a 2jz. I belive 1jzs are single turbos. It would take way to much time and money for something like this. Remeber these are inline motors and will require a crazy amount of fire wall recession to fit.

one would think...but "cheap" would lead me to think its a 5mgtte, 6mgtt4, or 7mgtte...coming from mid 80s to late80s.
If your going to do the motor swap. Go balls to the wall and Drop a V8 like this guy did. And yes it works, but takes alot of welding skills and ducketts. But check out the link this..... I tired to find the video of it rolling but i cant.
i definatly love that v8, and im surely not bashing on him as he has bigger balls and brains than i do to complete a project like that...but you would think that with all that work, he would have put a manual trans in there
God I love the mini coopers. It was a damn shame the one in my price range, was a automatic type s. had it been 6spd S, I'd have that instead of the xB. lol
this is a more reasonable idea here...I know of couple of people on either ScionLife or the Scikotics has done it... is my personal plan since the N/A tC/Camery puts more power to the ground than we can get from modding our motor without N2O or an insanely dangerous amount of boost

Boost is dangerous if you build your car to handle it. Just a little FYI

I guess I phrased it wrong... what I should have said was insanely impractical amount of boost... I've built my share of one-off turbo motors... where I have seen people run into "danger" is putting a massively built motor in a basically stock chassis and try to run it on the street... which is why before any major engine mods I stiffen up chassis and suspension and upgrade brakes to handle the power
I wonder why no tries or has tried to drop in a mid 90's 3SGTE engine from a Celica GT4? I mean its a 205hp toyota engine and you kind find them on ebay easily - not to mention its an inline 4 as well as the 1NZFE
