ticket??

iono if this is the right thread to post this but i think they should open up another thread space on this site to post stuff like this..here it goes.... i live in l.a,ca.. 90011 and i got a ticket for speeding today.. not only speeding but mod. exhaust too.. ..lol.. the cop asked me if i knew how fast i was going and i said round 50mph.. and he asked if i knew the speed limit and i said 35mph.. on the ticket he wrote that i was doing 45mph.. anyone know what these tickets come out to be in total?? and yeah.. i already put my stock muffler back on.. butttttttttt i have a cold air intake.. think if i get to get my car inspected that ill have to take off the intake??

Re: ticket??

Not sure on what the damages will be but best of luck. I think with the exhaust all they will do is look at it and ask you to start it so they can hear it so your probably safe w/ the intake.

but its funny though cus everytime i disconnect my battery to change the intake my mass air flow sensor messes up.. :\ .... once i disconnected the negative terminal of the battery to clean around the lil areas and when i hooked it back up i turned on the ignition and the car would choke.. :/

last time i went to go get my exhaust checked for a db rate.. they did the checking.. they popped my hood and checked.. then used a db meter to check the volume on the exhaust.. i got a 83db reading... the limit is 95db but i didnt have an intake then...
