| Well, if I can get a tbs sent to me, I'd gladly pay for 6 pulls out here in the midwest where the current high is 18 degrees.
Oh, and I'd actually do it. |

| He played the guy selling these things for a sucker. And now the rest of the xB community looks bad. Oh well, for all we know the guy selling them could be playing us for suckers. Unfortunately the guy who has going to reveal the truth to us is even more shady about the whole deal. |

| Well he was complaining about So Cal weather and not being good enough to dyno. I guess that means the dynos up here are worthless, they do it year round and it's like 20f out side, if we had to wait to dyno for 70-80f weather we'd only have two months a year to do it
Guess he got his free part. |

| Yeah, it is a shame too. I can get 3 pulls for around 80 bucks here. I'd pay for 6 to show proof.
I wish I had a dyno to test with. I'd totally do it. |

| I thought I saw withaquicknes's box at the West Covina Scion dealership meet last month. If he's there next Wednesday someone hit him up about the results. Who knows something might have come up to where he couldn't get dynos done, but a response should be made since free parts were flowed. There is an obligation to the manufacturer. Unfortunately I'll be in class till 10pm that night, so won't make it out.

| RTON20S....Now Im calling you out. Ok, I just read the post from the other page, seeing as Im shady and making the XB community look bad and Im trying to jack someone around here for a $75 part that doesnt seem to work, Why dont you PM me your address and Ill ship you the TBS that was givin to me so you can go dyno it, seeing as you have all this time to do it when I dont. I know I could just throw it on the dyno but making money and my family time comes first, so instead of me donating the $100-$160 of my time to do 6+ pulls and to swap it out, I will let you do it, oh and dont forget its just...thats right a $75 part, and when its all over with, you can keep the part. Hows that sound? Sounds good to me, I am not going to ruin my rep over some bullshit. Thanks |

| I see it as simple as this. You said you didn't think it would work you wanted a dyno on it and thats cool. However you went a step pass that saying you had access to a dyno if they would give you one you would do the dyno and post it. They called you on it and sent you one and now you don't have time? WTF if you didn't have time to do it you should have kept your mouth shut and not pressed them for the TBS to dyno. Now you want to pass the buck? Dude you made a commitment to do it you need to step up. You asked for a free TBS to dyno for them and knew you are hard pressed for time? Well your sig says it. "Stupid is and stupid does" Which by the way should be stupid is AS stupid does. Bottom line IMO either do it or send them the $75 for the part and tell them your sorry you let your mouth overload your A$$. Don't try to pass it off to RTON20S he's not the one that claimed to have access to a dyno. |

| My mouth hasnt overloaded my ass, is like I have said, Ive been busy with family and jobs. Just be patient I will get to it, when I get to it. Its been a month since the dyno day flopped, but Im going to get it done. I was just suggesting to rton that if he wants to talk shit, then back it up. I am not a thief or conartist and I will not have anyone calling me one. If I can make some time for this I will, but it will get done once I have some free time. |

| back to the lecture at hand. how long does a dyno test take? a run through the gears on a mapped course should take about 1 minute. thats 60 seconds. so 6 passes should take 6 minutes. granted a smoke break in between and time to suck back a beer or so. i wouldnt think you [not anyone specifically] would have to really 'make time' to go dyno. so how long does it take? im actually asking legitimately because i dont know.
and hell, if you want ill see if i can get access to a dyno out here. maybe ill take that buck and see how much its really worth. |

Bro. at this point you have no creditability. We'll believe it when we see it.
I'm sure they didn't send you the TBS to dyno whenever you freaking felt like it. You made a commitment to them so thats on you bro.
Oh as an after thought the time you spend with your butt on the computer you could be doing the dyno and yes I'm one of the many who said we felt a difference with the TBS that you said were retarded because there was no dyno.

| OK Boys and Girls, let us play nice and not turn this into that other site.
withaquicknes just needs to find the time to go to his "BUDDIES" shop and do a few runs. ( if he is as connected with them as he has said)
We all know how we put off doing things that would make us look bad, conflict with our fun time at our buddies shop, get us in trouble with our wives/significant other.
But if it was me , I would have returned the item to it's rightful owner( if I didn't do my part of the bargin in a timely matter, I feel it wasn't mine ya know, not paid for with goods or services) and let everyone know how sorry I was about letting them down.
Let's give it , say, another week, then those that feel a difference with the TBS can rightfully say " There isn't a dyno sheet , and no proof that it doesn't do anything so STFU or prove my butt dyno wrong, NOW"
Have a nice evening everyone. |

| to do a "proper" dyno the car should be run ate least 5 time while at normal running temp. Then pull 5 more at cold temps which meand letting the engine cool down for each run take the ave. of the "hot" runs and an ave. of the "cold" runs that way you'll see a difference in the way the engine acts. Then do it all over again with the TBS on. That will make it an all day deal... Not saying it should of been done sooner BUT if some else has all day to do it pass on the TBS and let them do it..... Just my .5 Cent |
