Re: I Need Power

So with only 2200 miles on the engine, it sounds like it may be a pain in the @$$ to install the pulley. Is it worth the hassel. The power increase? It seems like a cheap fix.

Re: I Need Power

Oh, it's worth the hassle. I'd get rid of all my engine mods if I had to in order to keep the pulley.

In the near future I want to install either a turbo or a supercharger. Any opions on these.
If you want serious power and be the only xb that I know of to run it buy a nisei turbo kit. My buddy is one of their only vendors and with that turbo kit you can beat a stock evo 9. But you better have $4,500 for the kit ^^

Im saving up for it as we speak

What is your input on the intakes that are on Ebay for $30 to $60, Any they crap? Again thanks to all who have helped give me suggestions.
To answer this question yes. I have seen some people having great difficulty with them. I would suggest the Fujita Short Ram. You can do some searches and find these discussed in detail.

Re: I Need Power

If you want the box to move, I recommend the following:

Scion xB Perrin Crank Pulley
If you've got a manual: Clutchmasters Aluminum Flywheel (pm me for price)
Light weight, Smaller wheels
Light weight seats, remove the rear seats if you aren't using them.
Scion xB DC Sports Header
Scion xB DC Sports Rear Section Exhaust
Scion xB Perrin Intake

Reducing weight, especially rotating weight will have a better effect on performance and gas milage. The intake and exhaust let that engine breathe

Re: I Need Power

I bought my intake for 15 bucks off ebay nad ive had it on for almost a year with no troubles. If youve got the $$, go S/C. At least itll still be reliable and if you drive easy, your gas mileage wont suffer too badley. Not to mention its mostly a bolt on!
