BTW, the wasn't an '03 or '07 xB ('04 through '06.5).

And just throwing this out there, as I'd like to fully understand this.
Why could one not run ITB's with a plenum on a stock setup? All the air going into the plenum would already be metered and I was under the impression that this was one of the main issues with swapping to ITB's. A lot of high end performance ITB setups run plenums anyway (lemans cars, rb's, etc come to mind).

| Re: Here's a wild idea... First version of Weapon-R intake manifold for 1NZ had very short runners and it was scrapped. You need a long runner for the air to build up some momentum before getting to the intake valves (thats if you want the engine to have a broad power band). If you are planning to race it close to red line most of the time, then- yes, go with ITB's. |

| Re: Here's a wild idea... i went to the S.E.M.A. show in vegas last year and there was a couple 2nd gen xbs with itb's. one was a hot rod theme and had the throttle bodies coming throught the hood scoop. super sic.
