E-manage fuel injector upgrade

Hey guys, I've had a set of tC injectors laying in my garage now for some time to swap out with my stock injectors . I'm running the Greddy supercharger and was wondering if anyone out there has already done this and has a copy of their fuel curve or can let me know about what level to set the new injectors to? I have a guy with the Greddy software and cable, but no dyno handy to be able to play with the settings.

Re: E-manage fuel injector upgrade

Not sure if anyone has answered you on this or not. The greddy supercharger kit is designed to work with the stock injectors and from what I've heard it runs on the rich side. That being said adding tc injectors would mess the whole tune up because you can only increase pulse width not decrease and stock injectors are like 180cc and tc are like 370cc that's double the fuel you would be running extremely rich. If you get a 10psi pulley than I would say add the tc injectors and have it professionally tuned. Hope that helped some.

Re: E-manage fuel injector upgrade

Thanks for replying. No one had answered anything yet. My only problem is that I keep throwing a CEL showing too lean bank 1. CONSTANTLY! I have always ran 93 octane and sometimes a little higher. I thought that the Emanage software lets you correct plus or minus on the fuel curve. If I can't decrease it, then I guess I'll be picking up a SAFC or something like it. Thanks for the input.

God I wish there was an edit button. I forgot to mention that the SC kit is supposed to run at 6-7 psi, but on cold nights, I boost out at around 9psi. Which is when I usually throw the CEL.

Re: E-manage fuel injector upgrade

Ok if you're running lean then you need to add fuel. Stock injectors are good to 160hp if I remember correctly. The only thing you don't know is when it goes lean. If you plan to tune yourself get a wideband o2 sensor like the aem ugo. It has a signal output wire that you can attach to emanage with there aux harness from there run car as is and dattalog it. Once you find the lean spots add fuel. And anything on your map in 0 is stock conditions. And only thing I can think of on colder nights air is denser and you are able to pack more in. Hope that helps.
