Ok I finally got around to writing this. I decided to build my own turbo kit almost 3 years ago. At the time there weren't to many kits out that seemed worth the money. I finally got around to putting it all together in October 08. I have to say with out the help from Zack from 365motorwerks this project would've taken alot longer. He offered several suggestions and information about our cars. Had his kit been available when I started purchasing the parts for mine I might have reconsidered. So Thanks Zack for all your help. Also BigO and Arizonaturbo for the info they provided. Also Jerry at G-Pop Shop Home for his technical support for my t25 garrett which needed a special fitting, he also is a garrett dealer and rebuilds them as well. So here's the list
Garrett t25 oil/water cooled
Custom divorced wastegate down pipe
Universal intercooler
Universal piping 2 1/2"
Custom 2 1/2" stainless exhaust
Greddy SP2 muffler
Emanage Blue with PNP harness
AEM Ugeo wideband o2 gauge
Oil and Boost Gauge
Trans cooler
Oil sandwich
Stainless steel oil/water lines

Almost all the welding was done in my 1 car garage by my Stepfather, as he was doing this he was teaching me how to use my tig welder so I can start to make my own stuff.

No not yet, I just got it on the road a little over a month ago. I had an oil gauge that cause problems and blew the fitting off the sandwich and had to take care of that. After running for a week I realized I had a boost leak it was the t-clamps I tightened them when they were cold so when it heated up it came loose. All said and done I realized that I needed bigger injectors so I picked up a set of reman'd Tc injectors and I'm waiting on my fuel rail. I went to a scion Dyno Day at a local shop but couldn't get any numbers because the tune is off due to the lack of fuel. As soon as I get these in I plan to check my tune and then get it dyno'd

Thanks guys. As soon as I get more info I'll post. They are talking about another dyno day next month and if they do it'll be free if not the guy said he'll let me do 4 passes for $75 so either way I'll have some numbers. Heres another pic of the down pipe

Did you replace any of the internals of the motor?

No I didn't, maybe later on down the road I'll get an additional motor to build up and see what I can push out of it. But for right now just stock block.

Thanks I had the lip kit for about 3 yrs and just finally put it on. I have rims in my living room haven't put them on yet either lol. And it was a lot of fun building my own kit as well as frustrating. There are some kits worth it though I put my own together w/extras for the cost of some kits out there. Mainly because of trial and error. For those that are mechaniclly inclined and are not scared to work on there own cars this was an awesome learning experience. For those that want to install there own kit but not fabricate it I suggest taking a look at 365motorwerks kits. I say this not because of all his help but look at what the kit comes with, and the extra promotional items and the support that you get.

oh and I'm running 9-10psi, I tested the wastegate at 9psi but boost gauge is at 10psi

Thanks always good to hear compliments from other fabricators. The guys at the dyno day gave me a lot of credit for a custom build, the compliments from here and dyno day make it all worth it.
