MMW=Weapon-r

Also, call Weapon-r before you order any 4/2/1 header from them. I made the mistake of ordering from them assuming that the item pictured would be the part that I received. Oh boy was I wrong. Apparently, the production run for the part I received had several issues such as no connectors welded up to mount the stock heat shield and the two spring bolts weren't threaded which is what they advertised. Weapon-r did offer to refund the item, but I didn't want to wait a long time for the next production run. Hopefully they have corrected these issues. BTW - I just used Thermal Shield wrapped around the throttle cables and so far have no heat issues.

Re: Best header?

Do you mean it's the same company or their headers are copies of each other?
As far as tabs for the heatshield, i think only early versions had that.

Re: Best header?

Do you honestly think it will give 11hp gains(I saw the dyno sheet too,it just seems like a big gain for just a header on our tiny motor.)

Yeah, same company. And if only the early version had the mounting tabs, then they should have removed that selling point and associated pics from their website (which is still pictured)!

Here's the dyno sheet for the Weapon-r 4/2/1 header taken on a Dynapak dyno which is used by bolting to the vehicles drive wheel hub, not rollers like on a Dynajet or Mustang dyno. This type of dyno will give higher hp numbers than those on a roller type dyno. The hub dyno is supposed to be more accurate but real world hp at the wheels would be from a roller dyno IMO.

damn edit ---

I forgot to mention that most of the header's gain is at the very top end of the RPM range (5800 approx). While my butt did feel a difference with this header especially the torque in the lower RPM range (3500 +)

Re: Best header?

You can make an inexpensive "hi-temp" clamp to hold the trans lines away from the header. I used a reg drilled steel strap (similar to something you'd anchor the rear of a stereo deck with. Then I cut a piece of silicon tubing, the cheap kind that collapses under vacuum. Slipped that over the strap, and mounted it. Cheap and simple. I wouldn't pull the lines too far though.
