200whp 1st gen vid. Who knows Spanish?

200whp.

Been trying to find out about the build, but don't know spanish and he doesn't answer emails. He's from Puerto Rico.

Looks like a Turbo Specialties kit because of the fule line running to a block before the TB, but what else is done? How much boost?

Nice thread jack Randy.

If you look at the Turbo Speciaties kit, it comes with a block with 2 extra injectors to add extra fuel. I think that's what this is. The guage in that line kinda gives it away too. If it was NOS the pressure guage would be on the bottle or in the dash, not under the hood.

People made history yesterday in Carolina, I believe. Here in Puerto Rico we have a turbo'd xB that threw down some hardcore numbers. I'll leave the video and the photos to speak for themselves.

I don't know what he's trying to say by "La broma me dejo mal". Broma means prank or joke. I think he's talking about something from another thread. I know Dominican Spanish and PR Spanish is totally different, so it could mean something totally different, but "tenia que decirla" means I had to say it.

Then he says, "But in all seriousness, this xB was off the hook."

I cleaned it up a little bit.

Re: 200whp 1st gen vid. Who knows Spanish?

Finally spanish III has come in hand:

People history was made, I believe, yesterday in Carolina. We have here in PR a turbocharged xb. q shot some good vids. People I lost q's photos but the video speaks for itself. This little box of milk is fast! Sorry, the joke is on me for forgetting it, but as q for proof. But seriously...

Re: 200whp 1st gen vid. Who knows Spanish?

it's not that hard to hit 200whp. just needs new rods, pistons and a nice turbo system but thats for breaking the 200whp point.

you can find a full piston kit for the 1NZFE at www.importperformanceports.com

on the main page there is a "HP engine Kit" link. go there, click on Toyota and it's kit number 17 based on 2000-2003 echo 1NZFE engines which is exactly the same as the 1NZFE in the xB, xA and Yaris. the only thing you would need after that is some Crower rods. that plus a turbo kit, say like a Turbo Toyotas kit and bring up the boost, you could make the full power of what the turbo can handle if you wanted though it's recommended to give the cam rods a regrind *can't remember where to go for that* and maybe a port and polish on the head.

the highest i've heard so far is about 240whp and that was with the engine kit i mentioned, new rods, turbo toyotas turbo kit and a small shot of the bottle but the turbo had lots of headroom left and with some reground cams and a head job, it would have hit and surpassed that mark being the settup was running about the same 201-202whp without the bottle.

the REAL concern would be the tranny, finding a stronger one would be the best thing to do at that point...

*sorry for the long write up*

Re: 200whp 1st gen vid. Who knows Spanish?

Crower also does the regrinds on the cams. I have researched all this, and knew everything you said was available. But there are also rumors of a 200whp box on stock internals. I was just wondering if this was him.

Re: 200whp 1st gen vid. Who knows Spanish?

I dont' see where 400 would be totally impossible. How many years did it take for them to get that high on a B16? Just will require alot of work and R&D. OH, and $$$$$. Plus, a stand alone, which as far as I know, doesn't exhist for the 1NZ. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If I was going all race, I would do it, but I have spent alot on cosmetics that I could have spent on engine parts.

She'll get there her father and hubby are absolutely brilliant guys. If she can run a 9.34 in an all motor tC she can squeeze 400 whp out of our lil 1.5 lol
