Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

Update from HPS is that they are working on fixing something with the xb and tc suspension systems (I know most of you could care less about the tc). They are thinking the system should be ready to ship to Steve for testing first week or so of August barring any trouble.

They are well aware of all our interest and are trying as fast as they can to get the kit finished.

Just wanted to make sure no one thought this product was dead......

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

Question from an Air newbie...

How is this system different from Air Runner? and has there been any more news on pricing?

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

There is no update Steve (scionpro) is still awaiting his prototype set up. They are finishing the scion design, they have them for other vehicles already so it is not brand new just modified for our cars and the tC.

As for how are they different from Air Runner, this set up combines the performance of coilovers with the benefit of air to raise the height for obstacles such as speed bumps or daily driving.

You set up the height of the car on the coilovers so that you can still roll if the air system fails.

With air runner if it fails your car drops to the ground and you call a tow truck to come get you.

That is the most simplistic way to explain it.

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

I am guessing Steve should have the test system by the end of the month but that is only a guess. Steve or if he tell me to do it will update everyone as soon as he knows more. He likes to make sure you all know what is going on just look at the updates on the Chrome handle.

Believe me he wants the system bad, he would like to change out his current system.

NICE!!!!!!!

Let us know when it gets there. I have a few questions on adjustment once you have them mounted or just in hand.

And of course ride quality (hard, soft, adjustable, or does it depend on bag air pressure)???

Cheers

If you have specific questions post them up or pm me and I will format them into document and make sure when Steve does the testing we get them all answered.

Like with the handle Steve is not going to hide anything.
