What do you guys think of this as a part of the setup that scionpro is offering?

That looks nice, but at $1900 just for the low end model, it would skyrocket the price.

This is the system i just saw and am awaiting a distributor pack on at Daytona Turkey Rod Run. It looked real good for Scions. Easystreet also has a set up like this but not as expensive and includes their famous digital controller.

Im still learning about air...and i thought i was following pretty good until this.
"I can also offer a self adjusting steel bodied set up called the premium class for 1395 plus shipping for the four piece set. It does not have the camber plate on top."
is this something on top of the 4 pc system? or an upgrade? thanks
Sorry to confuse anyone. This is a lesser system that HPS offers. They offer this as what they call a premium system while the one we have been discussing is the competition series. With a price difference of 1000 bucks from the comp. series it is a better system than currently available in the US from the competitors. It is a very good value with excellent design and performance. No matter how you slice it a good air system will run about 4,000 complete.

Here is the new Easystreet/Airlift Company plug and play system. It has a larger tank than the air pod at 4 1/2 gallons and includes the super digital controller. It has a 6 minute fill rate which is very respectable with one pump. Price in the 1599-1699 range available in Jan. It is going to be a hard choice between the Air Pod and this...one has better features at a lower cost and the other is just packaged so well with the plastic case/cover . I do not think you could be wrong choosing either one. They both seem to offer a very good product. It will boil down to budget.

Looks like the Airlift one is more customizable. If it's all metal like it looks, you can have it anodized or powdercoated to your specs. I think it might be the better way to go.

Please be more specific. I am not familiar with the reference to levelpro/ridepro. What companies are these associated with?

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

You taken any pics of the taxi layed out with the new struts? I gotta see how low it goes, I am excited. I have a cookie jar saving up for some of these. The part i am worried about is all the adjustments they have, I have no clue on how to do all the adjusting to get it right. Also is that digital controler from easystreet good? I thought about getting it if it does all the stuff i want it to do. Does it have individual control like a switch box, so i can mess around and also the one touch ride height button to put it at the same height when you want to drive?

Yes there are picture but I did not get the car or my camera back from the shop yet! As far as the digital controller it has been on my car for two years and it is fantastic. You can control all four corners separately. It also monitors temp change and adjusts the air load based on your pre sets as you go down the road...so lets say you start out in the am and its 45* out so the system pumps up but an hour later temps rise and the suspension temp rises so as your going down the road it dumps air wherever needed. I am very pleased with the reliability. You can make the car dance left to right front to back diagonally all up all down ect.

Actually if you get this new plug n play system from Easystreet all you will have to do is hook up two wires and plug in the digital controller...it connects via a telephone type wire and connection plug.

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

My switch box has like 8 wires i think on a little panel with screws on the wires. Does that become extinct or does this some how hook to it cause that is where all the valves hook to the switch box i have now. Sorry for all the off topic questions, you can pm me if you want.

You should get what you want and can afford. There are two main differences between the two kits.

The top of the line kit has built in camber plates and is galvanized.

The other kit does not have built in camber plates and is made of steel so eventually will rust.

You will be happy with either I am sure. If you want to run camber then save up because after buying aftermarket camber plates you are going to be a lot closer in price.

Hope that helps.

Instructions are not out yet and no you do not need to air out to jack the car up....... stay tuned to this channel as more info becomes available. It appears that the rear set up should show up mid to late January.

Steve has yet to drive his car with this on... front fenders are being rolled right now and are off the car.

Re: Scionpro: Major Air Ride Tech Innovation!!!

I have the easy street right now and they have the camber problem. My tires wear on the inside edge and dip out. So why would I want camber again?
