| Rear Shock Bump stops? 1. What are they?
2. Where are they?
3. Can I cut them to go lower?
4. How will it effect things, such as the ride (wich already sucks), stance (moar lowerz?), and other things... |

| Re: Rear Shock Bump stops? they are on the shocks, and don't do anything.
You want to go lower on the rear, take out your perches and just run the d2 spring. |

| Re: Rear Shock Bump stops? The bump stop is a rubber bushing on the rod of the shock will keep the shock from bottoming out harshly when fully compressed. That said, just keep it there. It's not hurting anything. If anything, it's making your ride quieter. |

| Re: Rear Shock Bump stops? Tony, do you have a Harbor Freight near you? If so, go there. They've got SOOO much great stuff for cheap. You can get a low pro jack there.
I don't have one, so I use 2X4's, drive up on them, then jack the car up. Its a pain, but it works. |
