thats the only way i can get a drop. the new mount eats up a lot of my drop, but the ride is so much better. with what my current setup is now on the front, i am about a 1/4 to 1/2 gap from cv axle to frame where i use to lay frame on cv axle.

The strut is full of pressurized oil, I wouldn't want to weld on it. Could get rather expensive if you mess up.
I have a trick up my sleeve that I will try out on the next one I bag here in the next couple of weeks. If it works i'll post it here.
As far as raising the strut towers for a customer's xB...
I won't do it. Theres more to it than the strut towers. And then you gotta do something about the rear still.
I'm looking to get a wrecked xB that I can cut the shizzle out of. it will be lower than the green one. I'm planning on body dropping it by cutting the floor all the way around, splitting and sectioning the firewall, and setting the rockers on the ground with no body kit, and no pinch welds. |

You know the bracket on the end of the axle that the hub bolts to?
I want to cut that off and make a new bracket that centers the rear wheels as well as moves them up.
Of course the rear would still need to be tubbed. |

We will look for modification ideas to make them drop more and recheck for camber issue repairs. hang on... |
