since you in cali you could run it on the outside of car and under rear bumper... that where i have mine and im in cali also.... the compressor is not as loud you just got to remember to empty your airtank every month or so... but this way you can save space in rear for custom sound system or even storage space

if your going to af... they will most likely tell you the same thing
