Rumor has it a strut brace can might eliminate just enough flex to help prevent our xB windshield cracking issue. Any thoughts? Anyone here running a strut brace have any windshield issues before or after?

I have heard the same thing. My Toyota contact told me back in 2007 that the broken glass was a mixture of too much flex and bad glass.!

I still have my factory windshield (rare, LOL) in my 06.5 xB with 23,000 miles on her. I added a Megan front strut bar at/around 14,000 miles.?

Love the look and feel of the strut bar. Great little mod.

I have to agree! I went through 3 windshields my first year of owning my 06 (bought it new). Made the strut bar located somewhere in this post and had no issues after installing it. Way to much flex without one!!
