I don't think I'd trust my suspension to a 25.00 set of springs with no name and shipped from the great white north...but that's just me. Keep an eye on the classifieds and see if you can find a used set of springs.

Goldline is probably the best of the crap brands on the market. Well...them and Megan Racing.

But their quality standards are nowhere near Eibach, H&R, Progress, Tanabe, etc etc.

People seem to think that price range quantifies a good component. It doesnt. The $25 springs in question are just terrible. For the price of the Goldline springs you can easily step into a brand like Eibach.

Re: cheap ebay springs?

im looking for a small drop nothing to crazy. i know nothing about springs for are cars. this is my daily driver and i have a lot of bumps and bad roads. but i also have a lot of hills and curves and i like to drive fast. so i want something with a smooth ride that helps in the performance area also. so i don't know what brand would be best for that. any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS i have a RS 3.0 and im riding on stockies. if that helps any.

Tannabe HF210's (i think) or DF210's if you want to be a tad lower.

Hey man I got the same springs off ebay. When I put them on the rear set down nice and rides great but the front didn't. i had to cut two rounds off the drop spring to level the car.

Re: cheap ebay springs?

The fact that he cut cheap springs should answer that question.

First problem was you are going a route where the springs are going to rust. Then the metal integruity is going to weaken severly. And if your springs settled they are crap to begin with.

Second issue is you cut springs, cheap poor quality springs at that. It really bothers me that so many people do this.

But when to do more damage to your car than a set of cheap springs were worth, don't come looking for sympathy. For your sake, and the sake of others on the road, take them off and put your oem springs back on. Save 100 to 200 and buy some springs designed for our cars. Not just spun in some cheap Tawian factory by a 3 year old child.

I had the same springs and had the opposite problems.Front was low as crap & back wasn't as low as I wanted it to be.Maybe you put the front springs in upside down or something.
