Re: Camber-edge Society

Will -3 camber all the way around eat through tires if the toe is set proper?

Re: Camber-edge Society

depends on a lot of stuff...over the course of a year with good stuff many people notice the wear no matter what. over 3 months, you might not notice that much(again with quality goods).

I takes a lot to get -3 on the front I think too, I may be wrong on this tho.

Re: Camber-edge Society

proper toe correction on -3 realcamber.com camber shims will minimize camber wear to minimum compare to all others out there.

Re: Camber-edge Society

just a personal experience between EC shims and RealCamber shims,
both -3's
in less than 100 miles of using EC shims, you can see the tire wear right away, even could tell it has cupping too.

another problem with EC shims is, the washer that goes with it is bound to break. For those still using it, please constantly check your hardware/s.

With the RealCamber shims, after almost 900 miles now, the tire wear is not that visible. no cupping. I know, the tire wear is there, but very slow.
I would expect to get over 3k-4k miles before i flip the tire/s on the other side.

Re: Camber-edge Society

also, keep yer eye on tire pressure. low tire pressure will put strain on yer inner sidewall and may fail first before camber wear.

haha!! sorry for scaring you. I just threw out a small number there. if you search for "camber" people actually gets between 15k to 20k if i recall.

i'm just too anxious to replace my rear tire with a smaller size.

but we'll see... i'll post it up here when I reach 3K miles.
