Re: C-pillar Bar

I still have my seat belts in place, there's no special bracket required. I did have to remove the bolt cover for the seat belt, but that's about it.

Well, if anyone could pull that off, it most certainly would be you, Aaron!

Straight on shot...

That's a Grade 8 bolt, BTW.

Uses for said bar: Hanging clothes on. lol.

Needs to be a 4 point bar in order to work in our cars. HOWEVER! that's not to hard to do!

I wish. It's a set-up one of the member here was running. And as for big systems (well at least big speaker set-ups)...

Who needs a rear seat, right?!

Re: C-pillar Bar

Well tring to two sets of bars in like you did dtrain isn't exactly how I meant.

To really stiffen it need to go to the floor. Which means no spare tire, or you'd have to relocate it to the center of the area, and then drill the covers if you wanted to keep a clean look.

The only way those bars would aid is in a side impact or roll over. If the are tied into the floor as well as the sides it should stiffen the cassis a little. But honestly anything short of a full on 4 points or more roll cage isn't going to do much for our cars.
Just nature of the beast
