Re: Bagged by the great Randode

did the holes match up on top and bottom so where u just cut the bottom bracket off or did u just make a new bracket? Also would air swivel fitting be rubbing on part of the metal strut tower when the strut turns since it sits up about and a inch?

I like the way that looks, but I was talking about the back, my brackets are sitting on the top spring cup. I need to cut it out and move my bracket up higher on the frame.

Re: Bagged by the great Randode

It wont help you any Goth. Your already pinching brake lines. all that would do is shorten your suspension travel. correct?

We put the new struts on my car today. It drops lower than my first set and rides like a wet dream.

I hear that. my other ones were stiff as hell..Not the case anymore. Randode just needs to start making replacement plates asap to take car of the demand.
I wanted to wait until today to expose the modification but obviously Randy jumped the gun with his pic yesterday.

Re: Bagged by the great Randode

mine were stiff, and would stick, I had to let just about all the air out and it would slam to to the ground. It is nice to be able to hit down ad the front actually go down.

ha ha yeah I guess he let the cat out of the bag, ha ha

so you hear that Randode? DO WORK! ha ha

Re: Bagged by the great Randode

ok, this may be a dumb question, but could you just not flip the top mounting bracket over and or cut off where it attaches to the strut? to get the same result?

It just won't work. It won't fit in the hole for the strut tower.

u can twist the bag in any direction you want to aid in fitting clearance

Re: Bagged by the great Randode

I need to get new(er) pix up. I took out the 10mm axle spacers on Sunday and I'm now dragging my can. Running the Echo rear shocks and cut bump stops I'm now rubbing tire on the fender well. I'd really think about cutting it but the paint...oh the paint. I wouldn't want to have to go back to my painter to touch up my jambs if I cut it and rubbed tire on the jambs.
