Yes. With EC camber shims, this is normal.

Re: Bad Camber Wear

Really I thought that people were going 15k miles on tires So how do people do anymore than 3 degrees

Re: Bad Camber Wear

I think the only real way to improve tire wear with so much negative camber is to get your toe settings as close to zero as possible.

Re: Bad Camber Wear

Raise or lower the ride height until it falls into spec. Or take out the shims.

Re: Bad Camber Wear

Dang! That sucks would a harder compound tire slow down the wear any? Because I know the neogens are pretty soft.

By the way way i have df210 springs so should I be looking into coil overs as well?

Re: Bad Camber Wear

the people getting 15k on camber are moving the tires a lot... they are rotating them to the front, and taking them into a shop and having them remounted on opposite rims etc.. this way both edges of the tires are used, and you are rotating the wear cycle by pulling them to the front where in my case I'm not running any camber so it is saving them and increasing life... I wore out my first set of tires very quickly with my ec camberplates before I figured this out...

I had EC camper plates and went through two sets of tires in about a month and a half. SO yea EC = epic crap in my opinion.

Re: Bad Camber Wear

With the EC -3 shims I was replacing the rears about every 3-4k miles...so yeah it's normal. Could of stretched it, but I was lazy in rotating.

i had OTGs on my xB and after 1k miles, you could hardly tell there was any camber wear on the tires.
