Can someone educate me about the stuff of tires and wheels? Like what does all the numbers on a tire mean?

215/35ZR18
"215" first number means the width of the tire in millimeters
"35" second number means the percentage of the width which will be your sidewall heigth (ex: 35 will mean 35% of 215 Millimeters will be your sidewall heigth)
"Z" the speed rating that this perticular tire is rated at. (i think Z = 160ph+)
"R" means that it's a radial tire
"18" is the size of the rims the tire is on.

I hope this helped. If you have any questions just let me know. I work at a tire shop, so I should be able to help you.
Laters!

I just found out about that, too! I had to do some "research" on tires and my fiance is a mechanic, so knowing what each number meant did help a lot. I know if I didn't have my home resources about the topic I would definitely come here.
