So I just bought a new set of rims.I got some 16 Inch Drag Dr20's with a 40 offset.I'm looking for some suggestions on what size tires to get.I got 205/50 last time and they rubbed like a *****.I'm looking for something that isnt going to rub.Also I had some Sportmaxx 501's last time.I'm lowered on some K-Sport Springs.So its around 1.7 Drop in the front & 2 in the back...

Any help

205/45? 205/40?

what is the wheel width?. That will make a difference, also are you running any spacers front or back?

with those springs id go with a 45 wall. ditto with the width. Im on 16 as well with a 40 offset. id go with 205 if you have a 7 width

ill check on the width.I have 10mm spacers in the back...

Width is 7 Inches...

since you had sportmax, i recall they have a low offset, so 205/45 tires shouldnt rub with your drop and 40 offset

i have 40 offset, 205/50 tires and i dont rub. no fenders rolled yet and 2+ drop

Can anyone tell what is the widest wheel tire combo you can run on a 2nd gen with no rubbing? Please include offset etc...Thanks!
