| I got it down to three hey guys and gals. I narrowed my search down to three wheels. Im completely new to the game of wheels and I would like all of your input. I was looking for 17's but then the oldschool caught my eye.. I want a wider tire then stock as well... will 195's be enough in snow and rain? what about the 215? I dont know anything about these wheel makers... what do you think? Any issues or concerns please let me know...
Also, do you have any feedback on wheelsnext? how was your experience with these guys? any help would be great. |

| Re: I got it down to three Well, I'll leave the snow part to the midwest peeps, but I had no issues ordering from WheelsNext when I bought my wheels, same as the bottom pic (which were heavy as ____t!!). But if you're looking at XXR wheels, go to nlmotoring.com, they're hella cheaper and the service is top notch. |

| Re: I got it down to three Out of those three I would go with the Axis OG. However I wouldn't recommend running any of the them during the winter months. Salt will ruin them fast... |

1. What u got on car now? Both rims and tiresize?
U DONT want wider tires in the snow. They have a negative effect on traction. If u r gonna run new rims/tires, make them your summer ones. If u r on stock steelies, just upgrade to better rubber. Stay away from Goodyear rubber. They r all for shit no matter what style/model. I would recommed bridgestone/firestone or bfg's or michileins for winter tires depending on your $ flow. |

| Re: I got it down to three thanks alot guys. the wheels are for summer.. right now im rockin steelies like no other.. there is already dirt and salt everywhere!! haha! im in B-Moore area and im getting ready for the bad weather. I should get new tires though... thanks guys.
now on a seperate note.. i found out that there are other makers that make a simmilar design to the OG's.. do you guysa have any input on the other brands? i.e. AXIS, ROTA, DRAG, WORK to name a few... any first hand expirience with any of those wheels? this car is a daily driver who drives in the frederick area of MD and might be back in orange county CA in a year or so... so any input will help. |

| Re: I got it down to three Work is the originator of that style - those wheels are expensive.
Axis owns(?) OG i believe and then drag and rota are below axis in terms of price, possibly quality - but I can't make an honest judgement on rota/drag cuz I have never owned a set from them myself though I know a few cases pro and con for rota/drag
Work > Axis~OG > Rota~Drag |
