so i just got new 513's and im picking up some tires today.

i really dont want to spend the money to have them mounted. is it a bad idea to try and mount them myself?

any suggestions?

I'm sure that you are good at working on your car and are pretty handy... but its not going to happen... especially not with low profile tires and/or without the right equipment. Most likely if you try to get the bead onto the wheel you will end up bending the lip without the right tooling... its pretty hard to do.

Not a good idea. Besides, you also need to get them balanced. Just find a shop & pay the $40 to $60 to have them mounted. Sucks, but you'll be better off.
