you need the upgraded stereo for it to change colors.

btw I have no idea how to change my greeting on my iPod 06 radio

yeah i got a 06 and i did the japanese characters translated into scion. great stuff

not to jack the thread, but does the 05 or lower models have ipod integration?? because i wouldnt mind having my ipod connected with a CD changer.

Easter Eggs
The pioneer head unit features a few easter eggs, or hidden special features, that you can access through secret mode.
to access secret mode, do the following.
1. With the had unit on turn the key from the ACC to the off position.
2. Press and hold MUTE button , and turn the key to ACC. A Horizontal like in the LCD Dusplay will start flashing
3. Within 15 Seconds use any of the sequences below to customize your head unit's display. Repeat the sequence to return to the original screen.

press and hold mute and 6 simultaneously while turning ACC off

"SelfexpreScion"
press and hold mute and 5 simultaneously while turning ACC off

Scion in japanese
From track #2, press and hold Mute and 3 simultaneously while turning acc off

you can do it, but it does not come standard, you have to take the headunit out, and hook the extension for the Ipod into the Aux hookup. However, you could either A. take it to a stereo shop, pay them approx. a hundered bucks, and they will do steps said above. OR B. You can do what I did and buy one of those radio thingies that plugs into your cigarette lighter. WORKS AWSOME! just as if the Ipod were hooked directly in.
