Re: ps2 in da box

Power inverter. its a 200watt, over kill, but the smallest I could find that had the ability to be hard wired.

Grounded to dash board brace behind glove box, and connected straight to battery. My inverter has a switch and fuse in it, so I didn't need to worry about running a switch. Just had to put it in a place that I could easily get to. Which is also good in case it has a malfunction. I can see what lights are lite to tell me what I need to look at. Also if I ever need to take it out for anything, I have quick access to it.

Of course, the game console of your choice. My choice was old school Nintendo. Only the OG's run 8 bits of graphics or less.

And your tv. I went with pioneer flip out 7" touch screen. I like being able to angle my screen if I want to kick the seats back, grab one of my fur pillows, and just watch some movies.

Your tv should have 2 audio inputs, (red and white) and one yellow for video input. Make sure you have the correct ones, and not the outputs, or else your going to be frustrated.

Its best to test before cleaning all the wires up.

Warning, because I tried to be lazy, DO NOT wire into your cig lighter. It just blows the fuse, and you have to run to Advance Auto Parts to get a pack of mini fuses because you loan yours out to your friends. Its best to wire straight to the battery. If you need a spot to run the wire threw the firewall, just look for your cruise control unit (if you have one) follow the wire and go right with that. OR the rubber boot that's on the right hand side (facing) of the brake booster. If you can't get it threw there, just take a close hanger or screw driver and force it threw. DO NOT CONNECT IT TO THE BATTERY BEFORE DOING SO! The wire will come out right above the brake peddle.

Re: ps2 in da box

i found the smallist converter i could possibly find and mounded that in the back of my dash. and the PS2 sits in my glove box.. i drilled holes on the backside of the glove box to run the wires. i did the holes directly where the power and A/V plugs plug into the PS2 so you wont see the holes from the front looking into the glovebox

Video/Audio in jacks.

and then to split them out, to Video/audio out.

If you don't have outs, get a splitter.

I am not sure, but you may need a video amplifier that splits them out to like 4 or 5 tv's? Not sure though.

I thought the PS2 slims could run right off 12v. Been awhile since I've checked though.

BTW I was at Mejier the other day, you can actually buy a plug in converter for the PS2 I think. Just plugs into console, then cig lighter.
