Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
I am in the midst of redoing my audio system.

The current system is a is all stock with a couple mtx subs under the from seats and a norcal subplug for singal to the sub amp.

I am planning on the project to be done in 3 stages.

Stage 1: install a new Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD headunit. I ordered the iPod cable, and i'm thinking about getting a sirius sat radio hook up.

Stage 2: Install new shallow mount subs under the front seats. I think im going to upgrade to the pioneer premier 10" shallow mount subs. One under each seat in a custom enclosure. I was planning on these subs because of the low profile, and the don't need a big box.

Stage 3: Replace the rest of the speakers in the doors, dash, and rear of the car. any ideas? i was thinking about sticking with pioneer i have always been happy with their stuff, but are there any other recommendations out there?

Stage 4: relocate the rear tire under the car, and add a 4ch amp for all the top end speakers and get a little bit of storage space back.


The only other thing i need to get figured out is security system. I want to use the stock security system, but i did not get it when i bought the car. Is there somewhere i can get the parts i need to make it work? Is it as easy as reinstalling a chip they removed?
