Scion xB Audio, Video, & Security Scion xB in car entertainment (aka Scion xB I.C.E.). With all the room available the sky is the limit when adding Scion xB car audio and video. While you're tinkering with the Scion xB electrical system why not install a Scion xB security system.

New 2 din stero......wats good?

ok, so I still got the stupid stock stero.......wat out there in the vast number of steros is good?? I want a double din.....so it takes the whole space.....but I'm not sure if I should go with either a touch screen or not. and wat specifications am I looking for in a good touch??? (im assuming a touch screen will be prefered) I know i want a sub output, aux input, CD/Mp3, and I want one that has a good lookin radio screen.....I noticed that alot of touch screens have cheezy lookin radios.....

(ALSO: Moderately cheap.......like mid $300's and down...cheaper the better)

I'm thinking of buying this 7" DVD touchscreen from sonicelectronix.com for $399 but am waiting to see if any other club xber's have any feedback on this unit.

Re: New 2 din stero......wats good?

I bought a power acoustik ptid-7350n for my 06 xb and I'm liking it so far. You do have to remember you get what you pay for. I got it for under $250 and it does everything I need but the screen layouts are a little cheesy and radio signals aren't that strong. You have to remember also that the factory deck in the older model cars are slightly wider than the aftermarket decks. I have 3/4" of gap on both sides of my double din. That just leaves opotunity for custom work though!

I would suggest going with either the Pioneer or the Soundstream. Pioneer usually has some really good equipment and Soundstream is a quickly growing company with a ton of high marks on their gear. All I have to tell you is actually go around online and try to get as many reviews as possible.
