Scion xB Audio, Video, & Security Scion xB in car entertainment (aka Scion xB I.C.E.). With all the room available the sky is the limit when adding Scion xB car audio and video. While you're tinkering with the Scion xB electrical system why not install a Scion xB security system.

Head Unit Installation...

I have this head unit Dual XDMR7710
and I was looking at these mounts 2004 2005 2006 2007 Scion xB Radio Install Dash Kit and Radio Dash Mount SCION, would these to items be all that I would need to install this deck into the space where the factory radio is located? If so, which mount would be better? In addition, would it be easier to install this deck in that smaller glove box area ilocated under the "Fasten Seatbelt" alert?

FYI: I am planning on adding a Bazooka BT1224DVC 12" sub powered by a Kicker amp to this set up in the near future, which is why I am entertaining the idea of switchin out the head unit.....

Re: Head Unit Installation...

any single din dash kit for the scion xb will work. i prefer metra brand! good luck!!!!!!!

and if you dont wanna go through the hassle of getting all that all you need is a LOC (Line Output Converter) and you can run factory head unit to a amp. you will need to tap into your radio harness for your ignition wire.

i dont think that this HU would be able to work/fit well in the "oven" based off of its flip face. seems like it would be in the way for of the shifter (unless you have an auto but then it would be difficult in park)
